Independent Films vs. Studio Script Sales

Studio films are produced by studios that usually own their distribution arm, providing an automatic sales outlet while Indie films are less likely to secure funding and distribution using the same methods as productions utilized by major Hollywood studios. Studio films work with much larger budgets vs. Indie films which work with much, much less money often requiring those involved to work for scale, deferred pay, or no pay at all.
