Screenplay Feedback Notes

When writing feedback or someone’s screenplay, it’s always best to make notes in favor of what is best for the overall story. Never be personal even if you feel strongly about what’s wrong. Constructive criticism is always best when it comes to feedback notes. Consider what is best for the characters and the story, yet keeping in mind the screenwriter’s vision and not what you’d prefer to have seen written. Feedback notes should be helpful and never derogatory and it’s just as important to point out what works in story as well as what doesn’t work.
