“Half written, half improvised.” That’s how actor John Lehr describes writing Jailbait, the new comedy webseries he co-created with his writing partner Nancy Hower.  That’s the type of writing that would scare most screenwriters. Not this dynamic duo. They like the fast-paced world of Internet television — where just about everything is little improvised. If you’ve come up with an idea for a webseries, it’s likely you’ll write, produce, direct and act in your own show. “Jailbait” chronicles the story of a regular guy’s life in prison. Premiering on Crackle at the end of March, the short episodes are part of a new type of web show heating up writing jobs for those who want to experiment with the new format. Script sat down with Lehr and Hower to see how they took the idea from script (kinda) to screen.
